Chemical Anchoring
Chemical anchor is a high strength adhesive designed for fixings in base materials such as concrete, stone and brick. Ideal for projects that require a strong and long lasting hold.
About this Article
Chemical anchoring based on styrene-free vinylester resins, low odor, highly efficient, fast curing and bi-component. Upon application, a highly effective, firm and chemically resistant hybrid resin is created.
Designed for chemical anchoring in steel bars, stair ends, threads, concrete, masonry, stones, mechanical fixings for windows, doors and stained glass. Suitable for anchoring near the edge and for fixing glass supports or concrete walls.
For application, it is necessary to drill the holes according to the dimensions indicated for the threaded rods or supports, clean the residues with a cylindrical metal brush and remove the first 10 cm of material until a uniform grey mortar comes out, then apply the product with a cannula from the bottom outwards, filling between 1/3 and 1/2 of the volume of the hole, then screw the rod in and once it hardens, fix the desired object.
*Before applying the product in holes in bricks or hollow stones, a plastic reinforcement or wire mesh must be used and filled with the chemical anchor.
